Love driving up to a long line when a business has been around for a long time. It made us feel as if we made the right choice and we were at the place to eat on a weekend. The fried chicken is like no other! Not over fried or over flavored. It's divine. The honey buns have real honey poured on them and you can also get the honey on your chicken. It's totally worth the wait.

One of a kind experience. You'll be in for a real treat if you can try it once. Schedule isn't consistent since they're a family run food truck business!

Five stars, and THEY ARE OPEN, are ONLY OPEN on Fridays and Saturdays from around 9pm to 3am I would say, but it varies.. They are NOT CLOSED, they ARE in a new spot I will say, but NOT CLOSED though, they have a weekend schedule like they always have had.. This needs to be corrected to OPEN.. *Friday 9pm - 3am *Saturday 9pm - 3am Usually not there when it's below freezing..

It's still open! Just moved locations. It is now on the other side of the street and a little closer to the Capitol. It doesn't have any signage, just a red food truck and trailer in front of an old white bbq place that is no longer open.

Bobo's is THE BEST. We've been coming here for years and now we make the 45 minute trip one way at least a couple of times a month. We love supporting Black owned business in OKC, and there is something really special about the Bobo's vibe (& of course they're one-of-a-kind recipe.) (: Tip- Join the Facebook group if you want to know when they're open before making the long drive there. Locals update us when the flood lights go on so we know what's for dinner.

Bobo's is a must if you are in the OKC area!! Bobo's is a great late night-I've-been-out-drinking or if you are just in the mood for some great chicken! I have been here a hand full of times and every time the chicken is delicious! Smoked, fried chicken smothered in honey, so good! They also make these little fried biscuits to help soak up all that booze! Bobo's isn't located in the greatest are but I have never had trouble coming here or waiting outside in the long line that develops! Only opened Friday and Saturday from 6:30p-3:30a CASH ONLY!!! GO TRY IT!!! You will NOT be disappointed.

It's been a long day. Driving for Uber/Lyft, a high school cross country meet, an OU football game, then more driving. I was in Bricktown when I decided I was too tired to drive anymore, plus the only thing I'd eaten were a couple pan ducle from La Oaxaquena Bakery this morning. So I'm driving up Lincoln and it hit me that I have never been to Bobo's. Maybe I'm missing something, but as I see it there are three iconic eating experiences in OKC: Cattleman's Steakhouse, Nic's Grill and Bobo's Fried Chicken. There are stories floating around of violent episodes and people stepping over a dead body to get their Bobo's, but they've had security there for years. There is no real reason to fear for your safety. Being my first visit, I went with the four-piece Wings and Things. They told me there would be about a 15-minute wait while they cooked more wings, but the actual wait was about half the time. You can chose whether they pour copious amounts of honey on the chicken. As everyone has said, the automatic answer is "Yes." Of course, fried chicken and honey has the potential to be messy, so I drove the 15-minutes home before digging in. Wow! I've had wings that were bigger, had more meat and were perfectly fried, but the smokey flavor knocks these out of the park. They smoke the chicken before frying it, and it has so much smoke that it makes you feel like you've stuck your face in a campfire. It is awesome and unlike any chicken I've had before. They were nice enough to give me a few extra wings. If I hadn't been so tired, I might have gone back for more. Then there are the biscuits. If a beignet and a sopapilla had a baby, this is what you would get. Puffy little sugar-coated pillows from heaven, they're meant to be dunked in the honey. Three came with the meal, and I wish I had gotten three more for $1. The only let down was the fries, but who cares? I've heard from friends about their smokey chicken tenders, catfish and shrimp, so I've plenty more to try. I don't give five stars unless something is unique or a place is really right up there with the best. Bobo's wins on both counts.

If you're from OKC and you don't know about Bobos then I feel bad for you. Go out and get some! Bobos isn't located in the greatest area but I've never had trouble coming here and I've been coming here for years and for years to come. They have police there now so that should make you feel better. I'm a little blonde Asian girl and no one messes with me. Don't let the location deter you!!!!! Do you want honey on everything? Yes. The answer is yes. Although they do drench everything in honey so maybe not If you don't want it dripping. I like it though. CASH ONLY CASH ONLY It's smoked Fried Honey drenched Chicken. I mean, do I need to say more?

Love me some BoBo's!! Late night weekend honey drizzled fried chicken! Wings are big and have a slight flavoring of goodness. Make sure ya get the honey alllllll over! Comes with greasy goodies of biscuits and you can feel every bite soaking in on your thighs. Worth every bite! The french fries suck though. They used to be better. I never tried the catfish or shrimp but there was a line waiting for them. When im in OKC I make sure and come here!
